Sounds good, I have an idea for the story.  The robot is equiped with AI and is governed by the three laws of robotics, one day he is "damaged" and the first 2 laws are corupted and he decided the only way to protect himself is to destroy all "threats" and so the game begins.

Also one way to prove upgrades is to create tools from things he finds, like he lands into a toy store where he finds a hang-glider and model rockets motors, and he creates a "LV1 jetpack" now enabling the ability to fly if only limited.  This could be used as the intro into an upgrade system.

Yeah we have already decided an upgrade system is the way to go with many different upgrades including upgrading how many upgrades the robot can have.

Now what exactly are the laws of robotics and which one gets damaged?

The laws are in order:
1-A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2-A robot must obey any orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
3-A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

The two that become corrupted are rules 1 and 2.
And sorry I was unable to get to the last meeting.

Remember it's no big deal if you miss meetings as long as you fulfill the requirements to maintain member status.

The laws are great and would love to implement them into the game.  And sorry for not being able to talk to you fully today, so many people were talking to me at once.

Oh, it's directly from iRobot?  Hmmmm.... We might have to tweak them to parody the movie then.

There was a book before the movie and the laws are used in everything.

I just looked them up, they are the three laws of robotics set by Isaac Asimov.  I don't see a problem with using them the laws were created by him and are in lots of general science fiction media.
